Finding the Perfect Smile with Crest®

This post on finding the perfect smile is brought to you by Dollar General. All opinions are 100% mine.

Oral hygiene is quite a topic in our house. With the bad dental problems I’ve had in the past (you can call me metal mouth with all of my fillings) I worry that my children will also inherit my bad genes. We brush 2-3 times a day, make sure to chew gum, and have tried to limit the amount of sugary foods we’re eating.

Teeth are important and need to be taken care of. Our family includes Crest® in our oral hygeine routine. Ever since my husband was young, his loyalty to the Crest® name has been strong. And that carried in to our family as well.

Seeing my children smile their beautiful smiles makes my heart happy and gives me much joy. Protecting that smile means a lot to me.

A smile is the first thing one sees when greeting other people so it’s important to keep that smile sparkling. We love to make sure that our tooth brushing routine is a fun one. With small kids it’s hard to do that. So we’ve figured out a few lively ways to make that happen.

Here’s how we do just that:

  1. Let the kids pick out their own tooth brushes
  2. Grab a kid-friendly toothpaste with flouride
  3. Make up a silly song that lasts a minute long
  4. Add a pea sized amount of toothpaste onto the kids tooth brushes
  5. Have the children sing their song while brushing their teeth (this will sound extra silly since their mouth will be full)

By keeping our routine fun and different with new songs our kids don’t whine or complan when it’s time to brush away.

To save time and money, while we’re out shopping for other items at Dollar General we love picking up Crest® products. And right now you can find a $0.50 promotion off of Crest® products when you visit their site.

While there check out their extensive P & G products and promotions! Maybe you’ll be the one who encourages someone else to smile!

When was the last time you smiled?

  1. Dental care wasn’t a priority in our home when I was growing up, and I’m still paying the price. Literally. Like you, I’m teaching my kids different lessons about taking care of their teeth!! I hope they can stay cavity-free. We love Crest toothpaste. Thanks for the good tips.

  3. I love Crest! We only use a whitening toothpaste in our household, and we can tell a difference when we don’t! Great tips for getting your kids to brush. Our toddler is just now understanding!
