Great Gift Ideas for Parents

Great Gift Ideas for Parents

One thing I always seem to have a problem with is making my own holiday wishlist. My kids have theirs done in October and ready to send off to Santa but gift ideas for parents can be a bit harder to figure out. Luckily I have a little help this year. Thanks to Microsoft and their great holiday gift guide for sponsoring this post.

Microsoft Give - the Best Deals only at Microsoft

From big ticket items to great stocking stuffers, Microsoft has everything covered to make the holidays run smoothly. With a quick stop to the Microsoft store at my local mall, I was able to test out and play with almost everything on the gift guide.

Not only did I find great ideas for myself but I also found fabulous ideas for my husband as well.

Great Gift Ideas for Parents

1. Surface Pro 3 + Accessories

Looking for hte perfect big ticket item? The Surface Pro 3 is the best of a tablet and a laptop all in one pretty package! Starting at $799 this device is great for those on the go or looking for an upgrade from their current tablet but aren’t really feeling the laptops out there.

Since I don’t even own a tablet, this would be an amazing gift that would allow me to surf the web and enjoy my favorite apps in my down time but still get everything I need done for work during the day.

Already have a Surface Pro? There are quite a few ways to spruce it up with Surface accessories! From fun colored keyboards to docking stations and more, there are so many stocking stuffer ideas to find to go with this device.

2. HTC One

Is your significant other using a phone with a cracked screen, a phone that still “flips”, or dropped their phone in the toilet recently (don’t judge!)? You might want to check out the awesome HTC One phones. They come loaded with Cortana – the ultimate personal assistant.

3. Phone Accessories

If the phone is fine but you’d like a little added protection for said toilet dropping, check out the fabulous array of cases and other phone accessories the Window store carries!

I’m personally eyeing one of the pretty Otter Box covers. With slippery hands I’m sure to accidentally crack my screen sometime in the near future.

4. Fun Tech Gifts + Stocking Stuffers

The one thing that caught my eye as I was perusing the other fun tech gifts at the store was the Microsoft Band.

Microsoft Band, the first device powered by Microsoft Health, helps you achieve your wellness goals by tracking your heart rate, steps, calorie burn, and sleep quality. It also helps you be more productive with email previews and calendar alerts – right on your wrist.

To go along with the Microsoft Band, the GoPro would be a great way to film all of the fun ways we are getting active in the new year! There are so many fun ideas for stocking stuffers and gifts with Microsoft this year.
