This weekend I found myself with a bit of me time. It isn’t to often this opportunity arises so I took full advantage and made something for me. This adorable crochet Instagram phone cover for my new Concord phone.
I had seen images of this phone cover before but could never find a pattern so I simply grabbed my hook, gathered up what remnants and skeins I had in my collection, grabbed my phone and started playing around.
I have to say that I’m quite happy with what I ended up with! You can find the pattern available for download in PDF form here. A little relaxing crochet time left me feeling fabulous and ready to create more!

Chain 1 and continue with 2 single crochets into each stitch around. Join to chain 1 with a slip stitch. With the tan yarn, single crochet into each stitch from round 2. Finish off; leaving a long end to sew the lens onto the phone cover.
6. For the rainbow square flash, chain 5 with each color. Pull each end in once lined in right order (red, yellow, green blue). Tie ends together on wrong side to keep secure. Cut excess.
7. Slip your phone into it’s new case and enjoy!

So frickin’ adorable! How clever are you! Love this…I haven’t crocheted for many years and you may have inspired me to start again!
OMGoodness that’s super cute. I can’t crochet a string, let alone a phone case. Great job!

You seriously know how to do it all. This is really neat. I’d probably want an IG phone cover since I’m an IG addict.
