I’m taking care of pregnancy issues and LBL with Poise® Microliners as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #LifesLittleLeaks
I’m about a third away through the third trimester and I have to say that it is not as easy the third time around! From aches, pains, LBL, and more, I’ve found that there’s new pregnancy issues just about every day.
Luckily I’ve found a few ways to help these issues and make them more tolerable as I count down the days to meeting my third little bundle of joy.
Pregnancy Issues and Solutions
Problem: Hip and joint aches “down there” when waking up – boy have these last few weeks been painful!
Solution: I’m now sleeping with a large pillow between my legs. While it doesn’t always help, it does alleviate some of the pain and pressure.
Problem: LBL when baby decides to kick my bladder and trying to race to make it to the bathroom on time.
Solution: Keeping stocked up on Poise® Microliners with SAM (Super Absorbent Material). They provide me with discreet LBL protection that keeps me dry and comfortable all day long – even when reading a hilarious book or watching a funny movie.
Problem: Dealing with the fun of swollen ankles.
Solution: I make reminders to keep my feet up/elevated and have increased my water intake to battle the swelling. Luckily it isn’t as bad as it was with my son!
Problem: Finding nothing to wear i.e. nothing fits over this large belly anymore!
Solution: Getting creative and simply giving into more comfortable clothing and large tank tops underneath my maternity shirts.
One of the biggest issues I’ve had thus far is how much this baby likes to twist and turn around. She leaves little to no room for food, is constantly kicking ribs, my bladder, and other areas I didn’t even know she could reach.
I’m just happy that I’ve been able to get a little protection from the LBL I’ve experienced while pregnant so I don’t have to constantly change. With the lack of clothes that fit that could end up being a real problem!
The other pregnancy issues I’ve dealt with all come wiht the territory and luckily I’ve found solutions to manage them. Now dealing with the issues that come after baby is here is another thing I’ll have to tackle! Good thing I have time… er…

I love how small and discreet they are, for sure! I remember the third trimester well. 😉
I definitely had the hip pain. It lead to back labor. No fun at all. I still use the Poise liners. Now that I’m 48, LBL is just one of those things.
I had the hip/pelvic pain too for the last month …hubby had to help me get out of bed in the morning.
i have to tell you, i am glad i am not pregnant, lol. good luck, i hope she gets out of your ribs!
Now that my husband and I are ready to start a family, I pay sooo much more attention to things like this. Filing away for when its my third trimester!
It’s scary thinking about all these discomforts and putting up with them for a few months- it’s all worth it though for the little miracle you get. Thanks for sharing 🙂
Oh, it’s most definitely worth it! But I never remember hearing stories about the different things that can happen in the third trimester. Birth stories, oh yes, but no stories of the issues at the end of pregnancy.
