About a month ago I was invited to attend a small “Dinner with the Founder” event at the Firehouse Subs Point Loma location. Since I had never heard of Firehouse Subs but am frequently in this area of town I knew I wanted to check out what Firehouse Subs had to offer. And I’m so glad I did!
Award-winning fast casual restaurant, Firehouse Subs, opened it’s doors to San Diego in 2012. Since then it’s been serving up high quality sandwiches and salads to San Diegans. By opening in San Diego, Firehouse Subs brings uniquely Southern flavors and ingredients to the West Coast, including 16-hour smokehouse beef brisket and a datil pepper hot sauce inspired by the brother’s father, Captain Sorensen.
